Destined to be this year’s neatly wrapped up Christmas gift aka Love Actually, it’s the story of how the world comes together to celebrate the new year. And those doing the celebrating are an array of famous faces from Hilary Swank to Robert DeNiro, John Bon Jovi to Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker to Seth Meyers, Ashton Kutcher to Jessica Biel, and the list keeps growing. With that many stars you get thrown off by relating to the simplicity of each storyline, until eventually you sink in comfortably and the film makes you consider your own personal year end moments. The good, the bad, the sickness and the health. Woven together rather nicely, this makes for a movie that represents no more than what its intent is… to stop and reflect on the adventures and the risks we took. Some paid off and some didn’t. There’s the good times and the bad of the past year. But now there’s the new year and the new beginnings…to forgive, to have a dream, and to raise your glass. Three tiaras
