After a daring escape with the help of a clever war horse named Altivo, they manage to stumble onto El Dorado only to find their troubles are just beginning.
Music by Elton John, voices include Rosie Perez and Armand Assante, the only thing this Spielberg’s Dreamworks flick and Disney’s upcoming “The Emperor’s New Groove” have in common is that they take place on the same continent. Otherwise, the quality of the films is said to be worlds away. The Road To El Dorado is the best animated film for 2000. Like their first attempt in animation with last year’s “Antz” which beat out Disney’s “A Bugs Life” Dreamworks has done it again, with all the elements that will please both parents and kids alike.
