When a police squads’ pup accidentally ends up in a mad scientist (Peter Dinklage’s) laboratory, the Beagle causes havoc that unintentionally transforms him into Underdog (voice of Jason Lee). But it’s not until Security guard Dan Unger (James Beluschi) brings the lost pup home to his wayward son Jack (Alex Neuberger) that Underdog a.k.a. Shoeshine, comes to life. Based on the 1960s cartoon series by the same name, Underdog can leap tall buildings, tackle jewelry thieves and even fall for the sexy puppy, Polly (voice of Amy Adams) but his biggest mission of all is just trying to find a family to call home.
